Our modern-day lifestyles are taking a toll on women’s health, with many experiencing monthly migraines, fatigue, painful periods and low mood as well as affecting their ability to conceive naturally, maintain healthy pregnancies, experience normal births, and transition through menopause with ease. What may begin as minor symptoms can, if ignored, progress into serious modern-day conditions such as obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease.
When the body’s innate ability to heal is compromised, balance is lost, and daily life can be deeply impacted. My mission is to empower women to reclaim their health, vitality, and sense of self—embracing each stage of life with confidence and ease, from motherhood to menopause... and beyond!

The human body is not just the sum of individual parts or a collection of symptoms, - there is no separation between mind, body and spirit. Your body is smart & those “symptoms” is your body telling you something. We are not supposed to feel exhausted, cranky, anxious, down, hungry, frumpy, wired, stressed, bloated, overwhelmed or like a hormonal mess. Ignoring or putting a Band-Aid on the signs & symptoms doesn’t make them go away or fix what caused the symptoms in the first place.

Balanced Health for Life is a culmination of over 20 years of experience in the health industry passionately supporting women's health in the very privileged and humbling role as a midwife and educator; both in the community and in public hospitals in New Zealand and Australia. Health and wellbeing have been central to Kath's life after losing her mother to cancer at the age of just 52. She has been reminded again of its importance after experiencing burnout as a frontline healthcare worker following the COVID-19 pandemic and which has contributed to her own turbulent journey into menopause. These challenges have inspired her to support others on their health journeys with empathy and experience.
